The Ring

Everyone I have talked to to share my news has been asking me questions about the ring. A couple of months ago, Joey asked me whether or not I would like to be involved in picking out a ring or have it be a surprise. I said surprise. The only other ring related comments that I made were for a round diamond and a silver-colored band--I don't really wear gold gold anything.

So, Joey took my comments to heart and got me the perfect ring. It is a simple solitary diamond on a simple band. It is perfect because as you know, I never wear much jewelry so a real gaudy ring would be too much to handle.

This ring is perfect, simple, beautiful symbolism. And, as I have said recently to many people, it isn't the ring that makes the engagement, it is the guy that comes with it. I couldn't have found a better guy.
