When looking at Wedding Venues people around town are always willing to help. There is something about a wedding that just seems to put excitement in everyone I know. Joey's aunt obtained a book from the other newest member of the Smith Family, Laura who married in last year. The book is called "Here Comes the Guide" and lists all sorts of places for weddings in Southern California. The book has over 860 pages, so I have a lot of reading to do!
My mom gave me my first Bride magazine. Flipping through that gave me a lot of ideas about not only the place but also the themes people have as well as cakes and invitations. There is a LOT that goes into planning a wedding it turns out.
I requested information from a couple of other places and have gotten lots of emails and calls already. I wonder if these people get some kind of commission for the brides they pull in because they are VERY excited to talk to me. I hope to make an appointment for Saturday to check out a place that is right in the heart of Burbank.

Seems that things have gotten much more complicated than 100 years ago when I was a bride. I have a feeling that this wedding is going to be very fun!
